Clownspiracy

The old makes way for the new. The clown race must be evolved. All first generation specimens should report for incineration immediately, so says the Authority. But clowns were never any good at following instructions.

Strike Up Theatre presents Clownspiracy in association with Age UK, the latest in our Strike Up Generations series aimed at challenging perceptions of older people. Funded by Reading Borough Council for Reading Culture Live 2020, this piece of virtual theatre emerges from six weeks of online comedy workshops during lockdown.

The final film is accessible to deaf and hard of hearing audiences thanks to a fantastic BSL performance from Total Communications, and will be available right HERE  from 8pm, Thursday 23 July!
